Being Grateful

Over the last 46 years of my life, the most important attitude I’m learned to keep at the forefront of my relationships is gratitude.  Sometimes, it’s really difficult to appreciate what we have because we have so many distractions.  But, even in today’s fast paced, high tech universe, the ease of communication has never been easier or instantaneous.

With the dawn and rise of the Internet, we’re all polluted with an abundance of information and accessibility.  The struggle is to stay true to what we believe while being thankful for what we have in our lives – the soothing embrace of a partner, self-worth of a job or the joy we receive when volunteering.

It seems okay then, to question ourselves and the purpose of our existence.  For me, it’s a healthy routine of writing in my journal to remind me of the things that matter the most.

I am a big believer in what and how we project to others will come back to us.  That’s why I don’t have any problems sharing so much content in order to help inform readers.  It seems that the more I give and the more I can help, you in turn, help me become a better man.  After all, who doesn’t feel great after opening the door for someone and receiving a word of thanks for it?

In the same order of ideas then, appreciating what you have will help you feel better every single day, giving you energy and creating the perfect vibe to accomplish your goals and fulfill your dreams.

So, take a moment to write in a journal each day or send a thank you card or even pray for the things in your life that are really important.  Remember not to forget the purpose of what we are doing and stay inspired everyday.  I am thankful for each and every person who reads my blog posts while taking time to “like” and share them on your social media platforms.  It’s because of thoughtful and grateful people, like you, that my blog increases in popularity.
